How can regional collaboration help to overcome Circular Built Environment challenges?
Regional collaboration can play a pivotal role in overcoming circular built environment challenges. In the Eurodelta region, cities, provinces, and businesses from Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium have come together through the ASSET partnership to accelerate their transitions.
The first activity of ASSET, led by Gemeente Den Haag, was to compile an inventory of policies and strategies to identify shared ambitions and challenges. Regenalyze conducted the policy analysis, identifying common obstacles faced by the partners:
The analysis presents innovative policies developed by ASSET partners to address these challenges. To go further, the ASSET collaboration can help partners better overcome these challenges by:
✔️ Deepening the exchange of knowledge on existing practices.
✔️ Collaborating on innovative solutions through joint research, connecting ongoing initiatives, or creating shared projects.
✔️ Developing a comprehensive hashtag#spatialstrategy for a hashtag#circulareconomy in the Eurodelta, including hubs, infrastructure, processing facilities, and more.
